umm so, yeah, I was Tearin my truck down to clean it up, and the screws/nuts/bolts seemed super easy to undo... then I took a closer look... no f'n locktight on ANYTHING! so, I need a lot of locktight... anybody know where I could get like an industrial sized tube of the stuff? because that just isn't right. if not, any good deals?

just a small tube goes a very long way ...I've had my 6ml tube for over a year...and there is plenty left ...and I've built truck last summer using it..and did many other things with it

had the same prob on my redcat was goin along all of the sudden the thing goes flying into the ditch what brand is ur truck

I use the LocTite 244 (the stick form). I've been using the same tube for about 5 years.

it's an exceed infinity, so it's pretty much the same as the redcat....

thanks for the loctite advice.... probably just saved me $95

Must be your first RTR. My losi Speed-NT had loose screws in the engine, consider yourself lucky.

I have a 250ml bottle of a different brand. Been using it for at least 6 years and it's more than 1/2 full still. I work on lots of things besides just r/c as well. As others have said, save some $$ and get a smaller bottle.

Personally, I'd go with the stick or gel. I like the gel the best, but I carry a stick in my field bag. It's a bit more compact. I quit using the liquid stuff quite a few years ago. It doesn't hold as well IMHO.

I use the gel. My problem is that it lasts so long I misplace it and buy a new tube. Then, I find the old one. Its a viscous cycle...lol

I hate when that kind of thing happens.... it makes you feel stupid. though for some of us, (Mainly me) we truly are

I would think the liquid would be easier to apply evenly.

Wrong...

You dont have to apply it evenly. you just have to get it on there, the threading of the screw will do the rest.

the stick is so much easier to use to. its like a glue stick, you just stand it up on the work bench, and scrape a little off on the threads then put the screw in. no more picking up the bottle and squeezing it praying that only a small drop comes out.
