I got work from Team Orion that the new Wasp .28 should be in your LHS with in 14 days, Check with them for prices.

I ran a Wap.26 in my K3 before the V-Spec. No comparison the OS is leaps better in all respects including being lighter with a BROAD powerband. The MT engines don't have the throttle response and there's a good chance the OS will be more powerful. There will no comparison in quality the OS is much better.

i posted a thread earlier about the OS VZB V-spec. RCnitro dynoed it at 2.94hp/104oz tq and topped out at 44k rpm, and while the powerband was peaky, it was so high that the band was very broad. even up top at around 36k rpm it was making 1.4 hp. (at that rpm wasp .26's make .9hp and 25oz tq) remember OS rates the v-spec at only 2.54hp. how much power is that? wasp .26's claiming 2.7hp made 2.67 on there dyno..and sirio .27 monster pro's claiming 3.1hp made 2.95hp on there dyno. even if the wasp .28 has more power (unlikely) it will be peaky and narrow, and wont suit a buggy well. and besides...all these engines were talking about probably have too much power for the average driver!

· Horsepower: 2.85

· RPM (max): 42,800

Thats for the Wasp .28
