I'm in a spot I've been into nitro's for 2 year's now but I realy want my
atv quad banshee!! my wife is giveing me a choice r/c's or motorcross
I'm not a sirius rider I just love to ride.she said I should focus on just 1 or 2 r/c not all 8 of them.I like r/c's but they don't give me the rush that I get from motorcross.I'm getting a Revo+E-maxx for x-mass his and her's gift's. on my bench now I have jato,T-maxx,TC3,pede nitro.pede electric,rc18mt.project S-maxx,what would you guy's do? Oh and as far as my motorcross goes I have CR250R,
atv 350 warrior witch my wife ride's I've had other's over the year's but sold them blaster X 3,ATC 250R,ATC 200X'S.But I've not ridden the Banshee as of .thank's for looking

honestly, i would compromise. motocross sounds good to me. personally id offer to sell the t-maxx, both pede's, the s-maxx, and rc18mt. keep the revo as your MT, the E-maxx as hers, the Jato for stadium truck, and TC3 for onroad fun. explain that different vehicles are for different things, and that your getting rid of the redundant ones to appease her. get yourself a BJ for being a good boy, then take the banshee out for a ride. i dont think what she's asking is unreasonable because shes not asking you to give it up all together, just thin the herd a bit if your going to get other toys.

well as of yet I have not gotten the Banshee that's what I meant when I said I have not ridden as of yet.all my cash as been tied up in my r/c's and every time I go to my lhs for part's I see eye candy or I go on the forum's and see another deal.and selling my r/c is very hard I sell then 2 month's later I get a new one or two.I seam to be hocked on r/c's how do I break away

Get the Banshee, keep the RC's....

And loose the wife...

Sooner or later one of the guys was going to say it.

i personally would do as CorradoPsi said thin your collection out and when you go to the LHS take the right amount of cash with you and leave the credit cards at home lol
its very hard to walk away from a sweet deal trust me ,right now i have 2, a savage and my RS4 i run the off-road cause i hate on-road ,but my son love the on-road so i bought it for him to run ,
my other 2 arent into r/c's at all and neither is my wife ,she can't understand how grown men can play with little cars lmao
anyway clean out your collection and use that cash for a down payment for the banshee
good luck

Yeah, unless you can afford alimony and dating at the same time, go with corrado's suggestion.

Question 1: Is there food on the table.

Question 2: Are you providing it?

If both are yes, then I say do what you want to do.

he may be providing it, but who's cooking it, cleaning it up, doing the laundry, etc? he's obviously looking for a way to get what he wants with the least amount of confict, otherwise he wouldnt have asked for suggestions.

I think that you should thin out your collection to give a downpayment like mentioned above. In order to stop buying rc stuff all of the time I think you should get the banshee asap so that it diverts your attention and your not focused 100% on rc's.

And as with all the previous posts, I would say the Banshee. I am sure you could get a lot more use out of it, and in the long run it will cost WAAAAAy less. IMO

Rule #1.......If she's happy.....then you'll be happy.......

I agree with most of the other guys, thin out the fleet and use that money for the DP on the banshee........you get the best of both worlds plus the wife is happy............thus making you happy......good luck!!

Are you getting the new banshee? This is the last year there making it, after all theses years, I owned one and sold it but will be picking up one next year to drag it, I have a 400 ex stroked to a 450 and i love it. plus 2 all around. at glammis everyone is bringing there rc out there and it a blast to see them run up oldsmobile with paddle, I can't wait to get there next week with my new paddles on the gt, keep um both rc and bikes, tell you gurl they go togehter like white on rice. lol

I would say, do what you want to do. For me personally, I pretty much sold all my r/c's and ended up getting a sportbike, and i'm currently planning on doing a few track days next season.

But you know, you could always keep at least one r/c and do the motocross thing.

well getting rid of the wife it not an option!!! I never meet a woman like her in that she support's me no matter what.and as far as who pay's the bill's and put's food on the table we both do that.I do my deal's and she does day care.so who decides who's money goes where is not a problem we both pay the bill's and then toy's come after/motorcross and she does her hobby doll houses her hobby make's money mine is just a bad habit.I have a few friend's who come over from time to time and they are surprised at how she does not bitch.yeah she calles then toy's but when I go to the lhs she look's and ask's me ?'s not that she understands I now that but she can drive them I will say that.I remember my first savage it coast $800 with everything and she asked if I got everything I need.it's just lately it's gotten out of hand.I just can't seam to stop.sorry for the long story

sounds like lately you've been abusing your good fortune and she's calling you on it. thats all. you'll figure out what to do.

I was just ragging about the wife bro. I wouldn't get rid of mine either. Kinda like her. :)

I would pick out about 2 that I liked best and sell the rest. What was the toughest and most dependable. I've got 5 and it's hard to keep em all going. Most of the time I can count on my buggy and my Savage though.

Thinking about giving one of mine to a buddy. It was given to me and I have about got it running.
Good luck with your decision.

I would suggest re-structuring the collection. Zap the whole pile, except the on-road car. Buy a 1/8th buggy to satisfy the racing end, and keep your plan to get the MTs for the bashing end. Now you have on-road, offroad bash/race.

As for 1:1 off road, seriously consider the YFZ 450F instead of the Banshee. I rode a stock one in the dunes and outright destroyed every other quad there up the hills that wasn't on something with a road bike engine in it.

Given I ride bikes, so I can attack the whoops better than your average quad rider, but that YFZ is just light years beyond any other quad produced. Starting in '06 it is actually going to get the true bike 450 engine, instead of the lower powered 432 that the quad has been using (with 450 name).

PM me if you want to continue this discussion, because I could go waaaaaay off topic here.
