I still have to say, that with On-road, your biggest after build expense will be tires. As long as you dont keep smashing into things and breaking parts, this is an ok expense.
Personally, I run medium/hard compunds, foams only, and only warmer weather. That makes for a great day at the lot. I also run slightly wider tires in the rear than the front. Helps with traction. Since I dont race at the track I can go outlaw and not have to worry about it.
Another thing to note..... All parking lots are NOT made equal. Before the bash I went and ran at 3 of my preferred spots all within 1 hour. I noticed a HUGE difference between them. If the lot looks shiny and new, stay away. If dull and new, GO GO GO! A freshly tarred lot is probably the worst. Older lots are good too, just a stone factor comes into play.
