Foam Inserts For savage X SS stock tires/rims.

I bought a set of Pro-Line Maxx Impact Ultra-Firm Foam Inserts back on 12/21/06 http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXAWF4 and they suck! When I touch the tire there is a gap of about 1/2" maybe just bit less. One if my tires came unglued the other day and when I went to clean the tire and rim the insert was in bad shape.

So I am looking for a good/best set of Inserts. Has anyone ever made their own?

Which tires are you using? I like using molded foams, but a tire that has a very high sidewall will not fit well.

If they be anything like the stock foams they sent with the kit I would not expect much, then I might be wrong as I never did install them.

Ofna molded foams should fit well with the dirt bonz, as the sidewall profile is very similar to bowties.

i have an x ss and I'm running the stock foams and it performs great around the track
