Hey guys, I have a few questions.

Anybody know where I can buy FM receiver wire?
Also, how many solder wires does the FM wire have? I noticed that there are only one wires in the antenna, but I want to make sure because I know a lot of antennas have probably two or more wires in them.

Thanks!

As far as I know most and all RX's I have ever owned only have one wire and you should only have to solder one wire. mine broke near the RX and and I just soldered it back together and put a piece of shrink tubing over it, good as new well close to it any way, just make sure your new RX antenna wire is the right length if not it will effect your reception...

I just checked it, and you're right Alpine; it's closer to about 22 gauge, maybe 24 (my wire strippers don't go smaller than 22gauge).

I believe receiver wire is 24 gauge. But the real question is getting the length right. If you still have the original, make sure you make it the same length.

Oh okay, thanks everyone! I'll try to measure it out, but if not, I might ask Novak what the length of the wire was starting from the mother chip.

I imagine inside the case, it's another 5mm or so. You could add from the case-hole to the spot where it's soldered for the total actual length.
