My truck has been sitting for 3 years and I want to get it running again. The EZ start won't turn the engine. My flywheel won't move at all. I even took the exhaust pipe off so I could get to it better and I absolutely can't turn the flywheel by hand. What gives? Is there something I should be doing differently? I sprayed WD-40 in the engine a week ago and have been letting it soak.

Sounds like the motor is seized, it may not be broken but likely light surface rust has built up over that time period and is holding you back. I'd suggest pulling the motor apart and see what is ging on, if you get it to move but there is a light rust in there as soon as the piston starts moving in the sleeve its going to score the hell out of it. If you can post up some pics...
BTW, did you load the motor with oil or WD before you stored it?

If it sat that long without being prepped properly it is probably just gummed up solid, could be rusted too as Coach mentioned.

I have a picco xp .15 in my xxx-nt that I got from my brother in law that was in the same condition. I tore it down as much as I could then soaked it in da for several days until it loosened everything up enough that I could get it all apart and properly clean it. The carb was in the same shape too, so be prepared to tear everything down completely. I was able to get everything on mine all cleaned up and it now screams once again, but it will take some patience and a good bit of time to get it all right again. DON'T force anything or you will damage the engine, just take your time and you should be ok.

Definitely pull your engine apart. The EZ start wont turn because it has a safety feature in it that prevents it from forcing the engine to turn. So if you didn't store it correctly then you might have surface rust. But pull the engine apart and you might be able to clean it, if not just replace the P/S and bearings.

That's what I was afraid of. :( Thanks for the info guys. Guys I'll be tearing her down this week. Oh and I'll take pics for sure.
