So, I'm obviously a noob to these trucks, but I just took apart the clutch on my 5.9...and it looks like one of the pins had walked out and was jamming against the clutch bell. Are these pins supposed to be loose? Any good way of locking them in?

Where are the pins coming out of? Are you by chance referring to the springs on the clutch pads? Or the pins that the clutch shoes sit on?

The pins should never "walk out" are the pins loose or broken? Why did you have to dis-assemble the clutch?

Ah, crap...I was afraid of that. I took the clutch apart cause it was binding. Turns out one of the pins the clutch shoes ride on had come out and was rubbing the clutch bell. 2 of the pins were right loose. I tried a little loctite, but I'm guessing a new flywheel is in my future??

Yyyyeeeeeaaahhh.....Imagine that...loctite didn't really hold the pins in. luckily my LHS had another flywheel on hand. They also happened to have a hi-speed 3rd gear set. Yay new bits! :D
