you can go to the XR rear swaybar, it is smaller in diameter and it will help keep the rear from wanting to swap places with the front. Also, I went to the Mugen 350 shock oil which helped also.
Mine came with crimefighters also. I had seen where kits have came with Mugshots. I guess Mugen just stuffs whatever set of tires they have on the shelves in the kit :hehe:

just a sidenote - they offer 2 rear and front sway bars. I'm running the C0183 (2.6 rear)(stock is 2.8) and a C0167A (2.1 front)( stock is 2.3) .That combo seemed to help with off throttle turn in

clutch

Just wondered if anyone has had this problem. When i put the clutch in, the instructions say to put 3 small washers on the pins on the flywheel. If i do this, the springs do not sit in the hole on the clutch nut correctly. My clutch has now jammed and i can only assume it is because something has come loose. Has anyone else had this problem?

mine had one spring that was a lil off, so i just gave it a slight bend and it went into the groove

springs

Well, according to the instructions, you put these 3 small washers on the pins. The then cluthc shoes and springs, then a washer. ON top you put the clutch bell with bearings and then another washer. I was thinking of moving the second washer underneath the clutch nut to increase the height of the groove slightly. Overall, it wont make it any longer from shaft to flyhweel, but I'm concerned that this washer was meant to be there for a reason. I did not have one in my hyper. On another note, it seems strange that i would have to bend all 3 springs to get it to fit as it should, maybe I am doing something wrong.

slothy, where are you from?

i only had to bend one of the 1.1's (and it was prob less then 1/32" to get it to sit right) , the stock springs all fit fine. any pics of your setup ??

I'm from michigan - usa

springs

Okay, 2 pictures here.

First is clutch after going out on it for a while. All shoes have lifter from where they should be and clutch is binding.

second picture shows gap between spring and groove in clutch nut. Also has the washer i was taking about. I was going to put this washer between the flywheel and the clutch not to move the groove up enough for the springs to slot into without bending

officedog,
I don't see why that wouldn't work. Good idea. I had one that didn't want to seat properly, so I bent it just as slothy did and it has worked fine.
