Hey boys and girls, I just finished up installing the HPI XL chassis plates and re-doing the transmission. I shredded the drive gear a few months back so i got all HD steel gears for it. I put in the 20 percent more top end idler gear as well. the overall process took about 2 hours or so give or take. that's tearing the tranny apart and cleaning the bearings and all also. really not that bad. All i need now is a XL lid for it. I have driven it a little bit and it's way more stable in the turns. I'll get some pics up soon. just wanted to share the excitement with my fellow RCer's
