Fixing to order my savage x 4.6 and.....

I would like any recommendations for other items I may need ASAP . I'm getting the wheelie bar, buying fuel local, the rtr x 4.6 and I'm wanting to know what after run oil to buy. Ordering from amainhobbies. Thanks.

You can use WD40 for after run oil but i have found it tends to shorten glow plug life. I usually use fuel that has rust inhibitors blended into it so I don't use after run oil.

I would recommend you use after run oil or marvel mystery oil. Some say you can use WD40....its not my preference.

you can also use oil for air tool as after run oil ...it will take care of any moisture in your engine

I have a fleet of ten which includes 7 nitros and I use a quart of marvel mystery oil that I put in a 250cc fuel bottle. I then apply it to the carb and to the glow plug hole but I clean those areas first.

I use the Hobbico and have no problems starting up. I first started using WD-40 like traxxas recommended, but found out it was really hard to start.

Yeh mine was hard to start on wd40 too. Stopped using that after I realized it was causing a problem
