I ran into an auction that I could not resisit...the Mugen MBX5T is on is way!!!

Its used ..but that fits my style, I will kill the first one learning to drive it and then build one from scratch with the parts that come in this lot.

Here is the link.....I am not as versed in value verses price for these.....did I do OK..???

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSAA:US:11&Item=230093521955

If not I will enjoy racing it anyway.:hehe: :hehe:

Pics of the box opening when it comes in.

Good supply of spare parts and a V-Spec. I say you got a good deal.

Congrats on the purchase.

Man thats what thought...but I have only been into the Revo gear...anyway I am excited....can you tell.??!!!!!!???!?!?

Gonna need some wheels/tires tires and a pipe...JP2 I suspect...servos and a screw kit.

Off to Fast Eddys to get started...;)

i think it was a good deal. spares alone look worth about 40-50 bucks. throw in the mill...i say good deal

Thanks JETMAN......always looking out for me. this project is on hold pending proper reading skills by yours truely. News at eleven!!

Talonone, I hate to break this to you but that isn't a mbx5t its a mbx5 converted with the msr conversion. Still not a bad price with everything you got.

Yea Jet man helped me out on that ....I backed out of the deal....so I am still on the hunt......gonna have to just buy the kit and build it..;)

Thanks for stopping by.

amainhobbies has the standard kit for 444.99 and use this code (DPPMAR25)
for 25.00 off. So that would be about 435 shipped.

Thanks for the code....I get the newsletters as well....if I do it, I will spring for the PrSpec kit....as I would end up doing all of the upgrades later anyway......I just can not wrap my head around spending $1000+ to dress out a "toy car". I have never raced ...but I want to bad ....and I want to at least have my equipment competative. Those who have seenn me drive will tell you I am gong to have trouble keeping between the pipes...I am a bit throttle happy...:jet:

I know what you mean, but when I got into racing I met a lot of nice people. It is definitely worth it, the people, fun, and joy of competing. You could start with the truggy and gradually get the other stuff. Pay close attention to the for sale sections in the forums to get things a little cheaper. I got a NIB Eb Mods OS .21 v-spec for 280.00 shipped they sell for 390.00 new on most sites.

You could start in the mt class, its a lot cheaper to start off. I started with the lst2 change tires, and a couple of small cheap things. Used the stock engine and electronics. Its very competitive right out of the box for around 570 at amain.
