MAN WAS THAT FUN!!! it runs great, handles pretty well. i only have 1 issue with it that i will work out in the next few weeks. at top speed it starts to chine walk. I've read that different props are usually used to take care of that problem, first ill sharpen, balance and polish the one i have, if that doesn't work ill try a new one. id say it does about 30mph right now, and will only get faster when i make it more stable and can lean it out some more and get it up higher on plane.

I'm taking it out again tomorrow and ill see what i can do about some crud video from my digi cam. ill have to drive and film at the same time though unless my 5 year old son can follow it with the cam.

:arrr: a boating we will go matey!

ps. and it runs somewhere around 20 minutes on its 850ish CC tank

Cool man, whole different experience being on the water and skipping around with one of these things huh! a whole lot of fun can be had with them, do you have trim tabs on that bad boy those can also help with the high speed chin walk, and what size prop you running on it make sure you balance it and sharpen it up real nice, other than that have lots of fun and post some vid. Good luck with the chin walk.

Sound like fun. I was looking at one of those at the LHS the other day. Good luck.

I SANK IT TODAY!!!! funny as hell, caught a wake and over she flipped. sank back end first and with the nose straight up floated back to shore in about 20 minutes. i took a nap on the park bench. with the prop sharpend, balanced, and polished, the boat handles a lot better, its faster, and no more chine walk.

Sharpening I can figure out, but how do you balance it?

i used a dubro prop balancer, they are usually used for airplane props, but you can do boat props, heli heads, and car wheels on it too. just spinning the prop on a shaft between 2 points. the heavy side always points down, so you sand off material from that side, until a differnt side points down every time you spin it.
