Hey everybody thanks for looking and any advice. First off get the obvious out of the way. Tmaxx 4908 3.3, break in went fine got through about a full gallon then jumped her and broke a-arms upper and lower. Put her back together and now have the inevitable no idle problem. Ok so it has no idle, she dies if i let off the throttle, dies when i brake, and i have to start her by giving her gas. I have been lurking and searching for different problems that may have caused this and i will list what all i have checked.
1. Air leaks-sure can't see any cracks on the head, fuel tank or any where else
2. Tried about every tune possible to get her to idle and run correctly even got a flow chart off this site if i remember right. HSN 4 turns, LSN flush, Idle 1mm or tiny bit smaller
3. Clutch shoes seemed fine to me, spring was tight and when i took it apart the spring had a bit i mean small bit of a bend in it nothing i could see that would cause a problem though. Bearings spun with out any kind of grit or grind
4.Trans and slipper clutch seem to spin and rotate fine w/o grinding or excessive force.
5. Linkages seem to be in proper alignment when i put it back together this will be check again to ensure it wasn't the linkage. This seemed to be the culprit at first, but a check prior to break down of the clutch didnt show any linkage out of whack.
When i would try the ez start the truck does want to lurch forward that why i dove into the clutches. Any other suggestions that i may bypassed or advice as to which above needs to be rechecked. Ask any question you may have and thanks.
