RC Driving Style
I've been poking around for a few weeks and decided I want a monster nitro for offroad/onroad fun with the durability to help survive a noob on nitro. I've driven a lot of low end electric, but no nitro.

From a beginners stand point I could go lower cost and get a Tmaxx 2.5 for $350 or I could skip right to a 3.3, I've been impressed what I've read and watched of the Revo.

Is 2.5 enough, will it be easy to go from 2.5 to a .26 picco if I want more power, and bypass the 3.3? I have read a bit that say its easier to go from a 3.3 to a picco though, and even when going from 2.5 to 3.3 there can be problems because the 3.3 is built to handle more power.

2.5 Tmaxx $350
3.3 Tmaxx $400
3.3 Revo $500

The Revo was my first Nitro rig and held up really well. Tried the T-Maxx but didn't like the sloppy handling compared to the Revo.

3.3 revo is my 1st nitro truck and I've put it through the ringer. so far the only thing I've had go wrong with it is the stock clutch shoes and of course glow plugs. i would recomend it to anyone getting started in nitros seems to be easy to tune and runs a good speed. but upgrade the clutch right of the bat with a 2 or 3 shoe aluminum. the spring falls out of place on the stock ones and causes overheating (turned my bell blue). spend the money buy the revo
