I'm not terribly tough on my trucks but I was driving the VXL around the yard and bounced the front of the truck off of one of the trees in the yard. Low and behold I snapped the right upper a-arm clean in two.

What are my replacement options? The Toyz has aluminum replacements but I'd like to avoid the cost of the all around replacement ($70).

Do you guys know if RPM is planning on releasing parts for the Mini E-Revo and Slash VXLs?

Right now it looks like RPM isn't showing any products for the MERV. It seems that aluminum or stock are your choices. I'd go with stock until RPM brings out their version.

I sent RPM an email. Maybe if enough people ask about it, they'll hop to and give us what we need!

if you just have the stock front bumper i'd recommend a skid plate or the T-bone front bumper..put on on my MERV and i bang and bounce off stuff all the time and haven't broken anything...the front bumper flexes a lot and can take a big hit...got with stock for now and a bumper for another $16 and you will be protected...

i think it is well worth the coin and it is definately gonna help protect the front of the truck...

I've been thru 3 front set and 3 bumper sets i guess thats how they make there $ so once I'm done my 3.3-brushless revo frankinstein i want to get upgrade shocks and rpm all around the guy at the local shop did call they are on it. i might be crazy it is a smaller truck but if its goin to fly I'm gonna let it

wait, what?

I emailed RPM, this is straight from the RPM Answer Man:

Dear Jason,
We are right in the middle of a couple of rather large projects right now so I'm afraid I don't know if nor when we may have an opportunity to build 1/16th scale Traxxas parts. However, we just received both the 1/16th Revo and 1/16th Slash so we may be able to look it over and determine what we're going to do in the not too distant future (although it would still be some time before we were able to complete anything once we do decide what to pursue). Please continue to be patient with us and hopefully we'll get a chance to build something for you in the not too distant future.
Take care and thank you for your interest and support of RPM products. If there is anything more I can do for you, please don't hesitate to let me know.

that stinks and i just boosted my broken parts list to front shocks, steer linkage and chassis thats upon fist inspection.... if rpm dont make the parts in a couple mo i will sell mine
