So..... what kind of fireworks and how much worth are/did you guys get/getting for this 4th of July? I got about $60 worth..... mostly roman candles, spinny things (those are my favorite), and stuff that shoots out flames n stuff. This is just to add to the pot. I'm going to a party and the hosts bought about $250 worth :naughty: + the other people who are coming might bring some. I heard that It takes about 2 weeks to clean up the paper from the fireworks every year! I can't wait! (literally... I already blew 1/4 of our fireworks yesterday... the same day we got em lol)

Yeah people, raise your only hand to show off your fireworks,j/k dude where's that party, maybe we could crash it :),I'm not really buying fireworks this year, there's too many crazy people where i live that i think I'm gonna stay inside.

Its illegal here too. Go ahead and lite them up..if the cops come, run like hell

Fireworks are illegal here in Mn to. (Well anything that goes in the air or explodes) But In Wi. theyre not. I've already made one trip there, and picked up $100 worth, and shot them off last weekend. Mostly Mortors, roman candles, and bottle rockets/firecracks. But I'm headed there again on Fri. with some buddys and am bringing $200 with. And I'm sure Ill be the light spender with some of my buddies..lol

man you guys make me homesick ....i used to live just a couple hour drive from tj mexico
oh the stuff I've seen there sigh

The one that go up in the air and explode are illegal here, and all of them are illegal in Denver. I used to go to Wyoming they have everything there lol and also there is a HUGE firework stand that is open year round! But they have gotten so exspensive over the years! I just watch the neighbors try to blow them selves up now lol

hey wannarunem if they lift the burn ban there not illegal here.. just pray for rain and then we can blow some poop up!!!

Same here :D good thing Washington is legal and the drive there is about 10 minutes lol. You should see it... holy crap. Every block there is a tent FULL of fireworks. What sucks is bottle rockets are illegal :( Hopefully Ill get to light some more tonight. My mom said I can get like 5-10 more $ worth, so I'm gonna get small things that last a long time (multiple).

yep go to washington, smart idea bud,the oregon police nail people constantlly at this time of year for fireworks that come from Wa,You don't even wanna know what the ticket is,becarfull, and I'm glad I'm not the only one not buying fireworks, maybe this year ill take pictures of the neighbors blowing there selves up

well i missed my south of the border run this year so no fun stuff. the good stuff is illegal here as well. but down south they sell mortars big enough to fit your head in the tube! I'm sure my brother has quite a few though, ill just scam his.

I'm in wisconsin and we go the the reservation and i have friends that will spend 300 - 400$ on them, some are pretty insane.

yup, here in minnesota the only things that are pretty much legal are sparklers and fountains that dont make any screaming or exploding noises. About 1 hr drive to wisconson... I prefer the things that go in the air and those M-80 things. I usually experiment with trying to make things move/fly by attatching bottle rockets (most never move, LOL)

I live in WV. If it goes up or goes boom, it's illegal.
The wife and I go to Tennessee once a year. Always stop at a place called "Gorilla Fireworks." It was right after the first of the year. I told the guy to hook me up, always buy here, and all of that stuff. He was a hell of a dude. Half price or buy one get one free. Came out with 4 bags for $120? The finale is one of the clusters of mortars. 16 shots? It is about 18" square x 12" high? Sitting on a 1/2" pc of particle board. Been looking forward to it for 6 months.

The cops don't usually bother anyone on the 4th. So much going off anyway. Wife has to work. So thinking of doing it on the 3rd. Not on my property though. :naughty:

There is nothing more American than alcohol and explosives!

except maybe alcohol explosives and guns!

my buddy and i used to shoot 1lb propane tanks on the 4th. 40-60foot mushroom clouds. gotta love cabins in the middle of nowhere.

I was kinda thinking that too.

A friend of mine used to make firecrackers. Cardboard tubes. Inside was about the size of a beer can. About a 1/4 can of black powder? Haven't tried the propane tanks. Need to get with ya on that one. :D
