Hello guys

I'm looking to firm up the suspension for my firestorm by putting a heavier weight shock oil in it however I cannot find anything that says what the stock shock oil is so I cannot decide which weight I want.

Can anyone please tell me what the stock shock oil weight is.

This may seem like a stupid question however this is my first off-roader.

Thanks,
- Jmacca

It's probably 30wt, though I'm not sure. Shock oil is cheap, so I would recommend experimenting with 40 and 50 wt.

Ok thanks a bunch for your input. would putting in stronger springs helps fix this problem aswell?

It would help in conjunction with heavier oil. Springs have more of an impact on ride height, though.

Ok, next time I'm at the LHS I'll pick up some 40 and 50 weight shock oil, thanks a bunch.
