wow..that was one of the worst wrecks i've ever seen. that just shows how safe the COT-safer barrier combo are together.

wasn't almirola supposed to take over the 44 after dale left? why did rieutimann(not sure on spelling) go to it. anyone know?

So far Jr's car is junk! So much for wining this week, because it just isn't going to happen today.

Oh please.. 12th spot is not junk. I bet you're listening to his radio aren't you? He's always bitchin' about his car. I like Jr and all but I can't listen to him on his radio.. bitch, bitch, bitch.. Just my opinion. He had a solid run today.

I am just pissed because he qualified so well. That, and the last time he actually won a points race I was still a single man. He has not won a race since Richmond, 3 days before I got married... which will be two years May 11

He does bitch alot over the radio...... that's how I keep up on all the latest swear words! LOL

12th is better than 43rd... but we still finished a lap down.

yeah, I hear ya. I had been following Nascar and JMac for 3 1/2 years before I finally watched him win... It was worth it though. That was one of the most exciting restrictor plates finishes I've ever seen.

That was a great win for sure. I remember when he won his first race at Charlotte while subbing for Sterling Marlin in his Coors Light dodge. Jr, will win some day... and it will probably be the one race I miss! LOL

Tom you don't know the half of it. I almost missed Jamie's win @ Daytona. A few days before that race my big t.v. went out. The lamp finally went on our DLP. I was soo pissed that I was gonna miss the race in HD I wasn't even gonna drag out the backup. My wife made me drag the old beat up t.v. out of the closet and the rest is history. I still owe her... as I will continue to for a long time.

look at that Tom... 11 points positions in 2 races for the 26 team. Lookin a lot better

I remember that post too! You were spitting nails mad. It was a great race for Jamie and much deserved. I really like him, and hope that things continue to go well for Jamie, he's one of the good guys.

What TV did you end up getting to replace it?

My goodness, it's been 7 months since this thread had seen a post and here we are at the end of the season already. Sure makes the year go by fast don't it?

Anybody else tired of reading people complain about the Chase system? I mean it is what it is at this point. It can't be great every year. The World Series wasn't all that exciting the last 2 years either was it?

I never thought it would happen but I have pretty much lost the want to watch nascar. Like many other sports it has become big business and in the process it has lost it's roots.

The funny thing is I was told this by my mom years ago but I didn't agree, she's an old school fan. She said it started going down when they made the cars all look the same, I guess it all depends on when you started watching it
