well yeah duh. I was actually referring to the way people drive down there. My goodness. Maybe it was just all the congestion that got people all crazy, but man oh man. You would think there was no speed limit... at all. It's just a different world when it comes to the highways. Georgia was about the same. It gets back to "normal" (compared to what I'm used to seeing around Cleveland) when we were in the Carolinas on up north.

well yeah duh.

LMAO.
Well, you have motor heads all wound up from all the racing, you have really old people and you have drunken college students. Florida is a dangerous place to drive.
How do you think Dale jr. or Tony Stewart feel getting stuck in bumper to bumper traffic at close to 200 MPH?

tonight. Supposed to restart around 1:00.. 6 minutes from now. Nationwide is postponed til tomorrow. I'm never going to bed.. time for another beer :)

*edit*

they say the rain is over and they fully intend to run the entire distance.

To be completely honest.. I don't think they should have started the race to begin with. I guess NASCAR did what they thought was best by starting the event. I do understand that they have paying fans that wanted to see a race. I have been at the track during rain delays, and also been the fan that has to come back to the track on Monday to see a race. So even though I don't agree with there decision to start the race.. I do understand why they did.

With 4 laps to go fighting for second...WTF was he thinking? It's a good thing he doesn't have these brain farts very often!

he probably didn't want to lift and lose momentum because he was already next to (and passing) Jr. and didn't want negate the opportunity. Well, I guess he should've lifted eh? that was one nasty hit. I bet there will be soft walls there next year... ouch.

Well as much as I like to pick on ol Jeffy, it was just one of them racin deals... (in my best DW voice) Jeff was kinda stuck when Jr. spun the tires on the restart. If he had of lifted, I still think it would have been an acident...probably taking out Jr too. It was a really hard hit Jeff took though... I am glad to see him walk away from that one. The tire Goodyear brought to Vegas was just too damn hard.

What do you guys think about the oil cooler cap being off of the 99 car? They say it helps with the downforce somehow.

well its about time. gotta get up and go to the race tomorrow. FINALLY! can't wait. I'm sitting somewhere right around the entrance to pit road, so it should be good. it wont be anything like standing on the roof with the spotters like i did when i was little though..too bad i dont remember much of that.
