finally installed pullstart

ok so i got my pull start on and damn that takes up much less space than an ez start. i realized that i should put something on my hands cause its really harder to crank than i thoiught, blisters here you come!!

It shouldn't be that bad unless it's flooded... or have you not ever had a big block?

damn they really rip off the skin when you are really going at it eh. never had a bb, now its one an os 18tm with trinity pipe
i put on the trx 2,5 pullstart
and they are not that girly hehe

It shouldn't be too bad then. My 18TM wasn't anyway. Make sure it's primed before you start yanking on it. It should start right up.

ok so priming it now , how would you go about doing this with a pull start, never had one before and just curios before i go out and try it

Well, I pull the pressure line off the pipe and blow into it. As soon as you hear the fuel hit the carb, stop and try to start it.

You can also prime by covering the exhaust stinger with your finger and ripping the cord a few times. I prefer the other way as it's probably less damaging to the engine. Seems stupid, but it works.

i nver thought about blowing into the pressure line before. good idea . .I'm just waiting for it to get abit nicer out and I'm out to go break in my engine. can't wait.we just had a snow storm, weird weather we are having in montreal canada now a days.

yea, thats what i do on my gt...blow on it til it hit the carb, then i tiny blow to get a little in, and it fires in like 4 pulls
