Well, I was walking through Target last night with the wife doing some odds and ends type of shopping when we passed by the electronics counter and noticed they had 1 Wii left in stock. We had decided a week earlier that we would keep and eye out for one now instead of waiting until Xmas to try and get one. Figured the demand is so high now, that once xmas comes around it will be worse. I went to my wife and told her they had one left... we had our son with us so she told me to take the keys and put it in the car and she would keep him busy while I did so. The funny part is at first when I told her that there was one left... she thought I was talking about a DS game that our son had asked for... not the Wii. So when she handed me the keys I thought she knew I was talking about getting the Wii. Well when we packed the car up she said "That looks like more than a small bag!" I then proceeded to tell her that I needed to get another nun-chuck and controller for it. She said... "Why do you need that for a DS game?" My whole face went white! I thought... here we go, I am going to get it. I thought she knew what I was talking about. Well I told her that I would just take it back the next day. She just laughed and said "You can't take that back, you said you were looking for one." Then she just kinda of laughed about my reaction. Then she reminded me that I couldn't play with it for the next 5 months. I had forgotten that my stepson's dad had told us he is also looking for a Wii for Xmas and that we were not allowed to get one until after that. So I have a brand new Wii and two games sitting in the safe at home that I can't use until December 26th! LOL Oh well, at least we have one now.
