hi i am now the proud owner of a fg baja 2wd,ibought the car second hand fitted with a jetpro exhaust and kn filter. low end power is good wheelies galore but when it gets up to top speed it seems to get boggy at high revs sort of hesitating ,stuttering then it picks up and goes. the air filter seems clean i can only think its the mixture are petrol engines as sensitive to adjustment as nitro my t maxx 3.3 is running as sweet as a nut:D

do you have a manual with it?
sometimes a needles on 2 stroke engines are marked with letters L and H (low and high speed needle)
try to adjust both and see how it revs.

setting for any rc gas motor in 100% stock form is 1.5 out on the H needle and 1.25 out on the low needle. idle adjust to suit.

any aftermarket stuff, ie, pipe, porting work, race carb ect. need to start about 1/4 to 1/2 turns richer. just starting out for begginning settings and then tune to suit.
