First is is there a way to put a lift kit I guess you'd say on a stampede? Not much just a little bit.

Also what upgrades should I do now, have a bone stock stampede, couple years old.

I have a problem with lower ball joints popping off, any way to fix?

And what information should I know before I get real into the nitro, will only be doing it as a leisure activity for fun, no racing, just in my yard driving around and off jumps.

Don't waste any more money on the Pede for now. Save up for a Savage or Losi LST series truck. You'll never want to drive the Pede afterwards.
RPM makes excellent Traxxas hop ups.
FLM makes anything you want for a pede from aluminum, including longer chassis.
Lunsford makes good tie rods and ball cups too I think.
Ball joint cups, just buy new ones or replace it with something from the local hobby shop that will fit. You may find a better brand. I did not have much trouble at all with the two Stampedes I had. My kids beat the crap out of them for 2 years. I just replaced a few motors and the occasional broken part. Traxxas parts are generally really cheap to replace.

okay, if I flip mine, sometimes it will pop off. Lower ball join on both sides, easy to pop back on but kind of stinks.

Not really wanting to buy another one, just wanting to stick with this one, that said what would you recommend?

Also anyway to get better turning?

also not sure if anyone answered if they make a lift kit?

Lift, I think FLM has that covered. There is a few conversions to run 14mm hex 1/8 scale MT tires/wheels that will increase it's ride height around 2 inches. FLM makes longer A-arms, those plus some MT tires would do the trick. Then after all that you'll need a stronger motor battery and ESC to keep the speed/accelration fun. Also a stronger servo for steering. When you are done you'll still have a overfunded 1/10th truck that will be more prone to break. I believe from what info you are giving, you're aiming to convert to 1/8th scale MT. You'll spend more doing so than buying a good 1/8 MT.9 years in this hobby has taught me one thing, there is no substitute for a good quality platform to start with. I'd say a Savage Flux is right up your allley. Super fast, tough and more fun than a Traxxas could hope for in that size range.
One more thing I forgot about lifting a truck, you have to install longer steering tie rods, longer shocks. Longer arms to keep the geometry right, else you'll have a very ill handling truck that tips over easier and increases the same issue you are having plus some more.
Cheap easy route that worked for me. I installed more preload spacers, thicker shock oil and some Proline Moab tires on RPM 2.2 wheels. Toms of traction, a little bit more ground clearance. The wheels/tires are 10X better quality vs. Traxxas tires, drastically improved traction and handling. I still needed a hotter motor and to regear it.

okay, thanks was wondering what it took to lift it, doesn't seem worth it. It has a set of spacers on it already so I'll just stick with them.
