I believe it was the TV show "RIDES" that featured one of these in a segment. They were saying that, To buy one of these New, you must have previously owned 2 other model ferrari's... I forget which ones they said...

The way I understand it, Ferrari would only sell you this car if you had previously owned either an F40 or an F50. Wasn't necessary to have owned both, though.

Well the other day on my way to my guitar lesson(same time as before) I saw none other than the Enzo Ferrari again. But I'm posting this because on that same trip I saw a Ferrari 575M Maranello turn into the same street as the Enzo which happens to be the street the I LIVE ON!! I'm very excited to have not one but two Ferraris live on my street (if u couldn't tell) :)

Well, I can't say it's my favorite Ferrari but it definately says supercar. For the most part they've always been beautiful... and overpriced imo. But I'm a die hard Porsche fan (although I've yet to have one) and just a bit curious how the Carrera GT stacks up. Anybody heard any comparisons? Mmmmm... Carrera GT... now THAT'S SEXY!

R&T did a comparison between the Enzo Carrera GT and new Mercedes Mclaren this month I believe.

I'm not sure that is only an arrogancy question, it seems they don't want to sell such a powerful car to someone that will crash it in the first turn, they said that only old ferreri drivers are able to control it, but yes, there is some arrogance on them, I'm sure that a lamborgini Diablo driver is able to manage this car.

So I guess only the rich asses who have had or have an F40 or 50 actually drive them or know "how to" drive them. So that explains why there are so many supercars in the Dupont Registry with 1500 miles. I guess this is just one of the reasons why I'm not a huge Ferrari fan.

I heard that you have to have at least owned the f50 before you can get on the list and then ferarri picks from that list.

Last night on Rides they had the Enzo, and they put custome wheels on it! They are the first to ever customize an Enzo, and yeah, you have to have owned an F50 to get put on the waiting list for the waiting list for the lottery to be in the lottery to be able to buy one lol. I guess the guy on my street was pretty lucky lol.

It never really gave a good veiw of them. But from what I did see they lookes sort of like chrome BBS wheels or something. They didn't look all that great. I love the stock ones personaly.

They were specially made for the owner of that Enzo. No company has ever made aftermarket wheels for that car. It has an F1 hub style wheel, so they had to be custom made. Sounds like someone who has nothing better to do with his $$... :nono:

I thought what they did was make an adapter to put on standard size rims?

I dunno though, I really think it's ricey to take a $750,000 car and put rims on it. Unless they're lightweight rims, it's a total waste.

kwong, my thoughts exactly. That's why I asked. If they were truly Giovanna style, that's just wrong.

If I recall, I did see the car displayed on some show on TV...and it was some chrome rims with a big fat lip.
