Have any of you guys had any trouble with Fast Click Rims breaking. I have dusted 3 sets of Rims with 1/2 inch offsets by jumping and landing on all 4 wheels, mostly even landings. Either the hex nut rounds off the inner rim hex or the rims themselves just snap around the hex. Bought some Jumbomax Clawdawgz with Diamond Rims, best looking tyres i have had and they lasted almost 2 days. I know the clawdawgz are not made by Fast Clicks before someone points that out. Maybe i am just jumping to high or too fast, will have some pics when my camera man gets back off his holiday.

Back to the question, are the rims crap or could it be a truck problem cus i am sick of buying new rims.

The stock rims still work fine but the tires are like balloons before i get upto speed so i dont use them much plus i used a full tube of glue on each of the stock rims so i can't just replace the foams and rims.

Ant ideas are welcome so long as they do not involve batteries or fluffy toys.

Perhaps the rims you are using (with the offset) are the problem. Too much stress on the central hub. Is that the piece that is breaking out?

You might try IMEX Sayville rims:

That is what I used on my Savage and they handled the pounding quite well.

Cheers for that Sky, i looked at those rims but changed my mind cus i did not know how they would hold out, but now youve said that i shall give them a try. Yes they did all break around the central hub.

The other rims that I used that held up well were stock T-Maxx rims. Rock solid, no breakage.

The Team Orion Revolver & RPM Clawz hold up pretty good. I haven't had a problem w/ them stripping, cracking, or anything else. The only thing I have negative about them is that the chrome plating on the Clawz is not lasting that long. Even after the first run w/ them in only grass, they had several places where the chrome flaked off. But other than appearance, they hold up to many tumbles, cartwheels, & 2-wheel landings.

I pretty much use only stock maxx rims on both my maxx and now my savage. The rim cracks here and there, but getting 10 feet of air with a 15lb truck is going to do that periodically. The rims I currently have on my sav are rims that were on my 21 maxx for 3 gallons. I'm using imex's j-hawg medium tires. They hold up pretty good, but they seem to spin quite a bit. I don't mind the spinning, it saves on the rest of the drivetrain.
