i was looking at a fantom engine on ebay and in my xtremerccars magazine, and they look decent, and I've heard a few good things about them around . i was wondering what you all think about the fantom .12 frps .... and i was wondering how it would compare to the os turbo head or a trinity sirio outlaw or somethign like that .

I can't speak for the fr.12. There are quite a few guys who run the fr.15 in their T Maxx's, myself included. I have no complaints about my engine, the thing loves the high rpms. The customer service is second to none. The customer service and fantom engines are always linked. I don't know how they compare with the two you mentioned, nor do I have first hand knowledge of how they perform in a touring car. If I had a sedan, I would strongly consider the fantom based on my previous experience with the engine and company

ok thanks ... even though my life is now harder because i have more engines to consider, I'm going between orion , mugen , os , and fantom now. ... do you or anyone have and info on XTM ? i see them everywyere, i just dont know anything about them

I don't know anything about XTM. I have only seen the 24.7, and that is not for a touring car.

Go for Fantoms instead of XTM. You pay a little more for Fantom engines, but they will serve you better in the long run. Xtm engines aren't that high of a quality.

XTM? Not good for car..i believe that is strictly an offroad engine. but i can't be to sure. Go with the fantom.
