hi, does a fail safe work if the battery connection lost. if not then what is a possible way out to get your truck in full brake or idle if battery connection is lost totally. i know that fail safe is activated if the voltage dropsbelow 4.8.
but what about total lost of power?????? thanks guys in advance.

Nope. No power, no failsafe.

That's what TRS's are for (Throttle Return Spring). A TRS will keep the carb in the idle position in the event that the servo cannot perform it's job.

Unless the throttle servo sticks at half throttle. i had that happen to two of my rigs last weekend. One on my buggy and one on my Revo.
