I've been told to look into getting a fail safe because if my batt die, or come out, my truck will go wide open, and not stop untill it hits somthing. do most of you use one?

i have to admit i like to run with a failsafe but as i found out at the RCNT bash it wont always save u. my throttle servo gave its last grunt and my engine took of WOT right into the one wall that goes around the track. nothing broke though. so a throttle return spring would be good too. i picked one up at the hardware store for 40 cents and it looks just like a spring u would buy from the hobby shop..

If your carb falls off, it'll just die because there's no fuel. Silly goose! even my wife knew that.

More often then not you'll need a proper Throttle Retrun Spring/setup to save your butt before you need a Failsafe.
