First, I'm a revo guy but was falling a little short in the revo dept and hoped someone here might have some information to help me resolve this issue.

the factory blue anodized 17mm hubs are not very well matched on the inside diameter and fit loosely on the ever so slightly smaller snub shaft and is then secured by the pin screw. This pin on all my hubs is regularly coming loose because of the play and resulting vibration of the hub on the shaft.
Anyone else come accross this problem and if so was there a fix or did you break down and buy a better set of hubs?

yeah, i guess i forgot to mention i used the loctite...i think what i'm going to do is just a small touch of silicone sealant on the snub shafts next time i have the hub off. That should help isolate the movement of the hub and stop the pin from working loose without making it impossible to remove later.

Use locktite gel or paste. The gel works really really well on the small screws we use. I never had good luck with the liquid stuff. The paste is far better, but the gel is the best.

pin and threads will hold

on the inboard side of the hubs, the pin will hold with loctite on them for while. the issue is the play in the hubs on the outboard end allow movement, so much that it will wobble and ultimately begin to work the pin loose. Was just looking for a way to bridge the gap a little without more or less making them no longer removeable. I could buy better hubs i suppose, but these technically aren't "broke" just not machined to very close tolerance.
