Faced with a dilemma .... :\

I have two Revo 2.5R’s that I started getting back into (life gets in the way of fun sometimes)
My back-up Revo has only had 1 or 2 tanks of fuel through BUT with my OS engine installed so the Traxxas 2.5R that’s in it has never had any fuel through it …. meaning …. It doesn’t get used …. ever ….

So I’ve been considering getting rid of it for something different….

1st thought … Sell it and buy a Summit ….. This route will cost around $300 +/- boot money

2nd thought … converting it to a Slayer … around $100 +/- parts money

I know either one will be fun because different is always fun for a while ….

**Question**
If I convert will I need to buy a 3.3 chassis for this to work?
How much different are the 2.5 & the 3.3 Revo’s?

From what I can see so far, I will need
**A arms
**Push Rods
**Toe Links
**Axles
**Tires
**Body
**Front & Rear Bumpers
**Front & Rear Stabilizer Bars … most likely

Am I missing something?
and what are your thoughts?

Thanks for the input.....:D

You also don't need the body and bumpers. I mean, it doesn't look as cool, but to me, the body was just big and bulky.

Here's how mine looked before I revo'd it:

I ran 17mm hubs with 1/8 buggy wheels/tires.
