F1 vs. 1/10 touring

at this time, i do not think that there are any nitro F1 cars, are there?

I don't know if they still sell them, but they have been made...I was gonna get one

then i have no idea - i think it would still be less manuverable than a TC, and the only reason i say this, is that due to the scale variences in RC, it seems that what is applicable to 1/1 scale is almost always opposite of what applies to 1/10 scale in regards to handling and downforce.

remember - in scale comparison this is what an NTC would look like :

250 pounds, 550 mph, 12hp, and about 400,000rpm

those numbers are quite skewed as compared to a full size race car

Ya they are QUITE skewed..I've only seen electric F1 r/cs.I've never seen a Nitro one..

I think tamiya briefly made one...just like the hpi nitro mini's<<<was gonna get one also, they looked so awesome

They used to..They don't make them anymore...You might be able to find one in a hobby shop if your lucky enough...

i'll bet the f1 cars have killer top end...they probably don't compare as far as track racing but they're probably pretty good drag cars....

Kyosho and Ofna did make a nitro F1, however it wasn't able to become overly popular because not everyone love F1's at the time it was released. I liked the Kyosho F1, it is 4wd, adjustable suspension, and near to scale details, but they are now discontinue and I would love to have one of those. I will post pics of my friend Kyosho F-ten once I get my computer running again.

What's the minimum weight for nitro f1 in ROAR rules? Looking at that chassis it looks like it might be a little bit lighter than 1/10 touring

I dunno, if i'm gonna run an f1 car, it better be RWD, 4wd is for 1/10 touring...I like the effect

i have one never ran it i got it at a pond shop 2 years ago for 50 bucks new in the box i still need to put it together maybe i will soon or sell it
