No elec. just nitros it has a trainer heli and I do belive a jet ranger Its been a while since I have used it.. But It is a very nice sim for what it is I spent about 200 hours on it and learned to fly... I just needed some thing to get me to the 3D
witch you can't do on the G2 lite.. but there is up dates that can be down loaded off the net

i see it only comes with two nitro heli's ...anyone know if it would make that much difference ...i

Rolex whould no the awnswer to you question... I do belive for 30$ you can buy add ons

ok ill check with him ...if i could get an electric ..or if he thinks it matter that much..if i learn to fly a nitro i wonder if i would be lost trying to fly my electric
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy iy though

If you learn to fly on the 'lite' version, you learn all the basics. That's the stick movements, and that's what's important. Full G2 gives you a wider choice of nitros and electrics as well, and the ability to edit them to your liking. That's all in the software.
As far as learning how to handle a heli, nitro or electric, the controls and stick movements will teach you what you need to know. The most difficult thing on a heli is hovering in different directions. If you don't learn the basics on a sim, you'll break a rotor the first time you leave the ground and try to get it back down.
The lite version Zandor has will be fine. Pretty much, only the engine sound will be different from an electric.
You can also check the Knife Edge RealFlight G2 web site. I'm pretty sure they have recently released an upgrade to make 'lite' a full G2 version.
Nitro helis are heavier and more stable than electrics, but without a wind or gust turned on in the sim they will be about the same handling.
Go for lite right now. If you really get into it for winter flying inside, you can always uprade to G2 without the G2 cost.

i did not break my rotor the first time i left the ground!! i auctuly got it to kinda hover twice when the batts were getting low ...put a fresh batt in put the throttle stick up to where i just had been to lift off and .......zoom up into the sky it flew got to about 25' and towords the barn before i could say oh crap & spasticly put the throttle to off and it
dropped down & into the barn ....i figure now this will be cheaper than parts later on

so zandor you got a deal ..let me know where to paypal the cash

cool bean you got it great deal man fly man fly..

But you never spent a nickel on new rotor blades. There's no damage that keeps you from your next flight 30 seconds later.
