i was reading in RC car action, and i saw a vehicle that was equipped with push-button electric starting on the *transmitter*. this interests me, because i run my revo 3.3 in a sandpit, sometimes almost a 1/2 mile away, which sucks when it dies.:(

E-z start is just push button start, and you have to go to the car either way, i don't know about the starting with the transmitter though..

The Team Losi 1/10th scale Truggy has a remote starter on it that is operated with a button on the radio, and not the car. That's what he's referring to ;-)

RX Battery as far as I know. Losi has vids of it on their web site. Looks pretty cool...especially if you just bash. RX batteries are cheap. I just bought 2 2200mah LIPO RX Batteries for $14 each. They last a LOOOOONG time...even with 2 digital servos.

yea, u probably looked at the ten-t from losi, but it is possible to do it on a revo.. first you would need some stuff..
The list is:
EZ-Start 1 (not 2)
A Small servo
An Open Channel on your receiver
A 3rd Channel Switch on your transmitter(not gonna work with a stock tx)

Now you have to hook up you servo so that it will touch the button on the ez-start wand whenever you flip the 3rd channel switch. Here is a vid to do it, but on a T-Maxx:

now don't get me wrong thats a pretty sweet idea, but wouldn't it make it heavier on the one side and make the handling a little weird???. . .i know a t-maxx handles weird as it is but, at any rate that is pretty sweet, but there has got to be a better way to do it, and i know that the spektrum DX3S has a button beside the roller button that according to the manual is for "remote start" and i wanna try and utilize that button but i just can't figure out how to do it, give me some time and i will though and when i do figure it out i will post my results

i was thinking more of something along the lines of a 3rd channel so that when you pressed a button on the transmitter it would send out electricity to the starter and glowplug

I was experimenting with this myself but I used the old style ez start system its a little lighter and not as bulky as the wand but all in all its not worth it with adding the weight and loosing a channel like sacrificing reverse and if you have a good tune it wont die anyway. now my next Idea is rigging a remote kill switch and start combo though it would be extremely heavy it would be perfect for the lazy days...
