this makes the 3rd EZ start i've been through and it works fine except after a few starts the glow plug wont light up. why does this keep happenning? i jiggled the starter around to make sure the pins were making contact but nothing, the light won't light up either. any ideas?

Do yourslef a favor and buy a glow plug ignitor. The ez start ignitor is a pain and works when it wants. This way you know its going to work every time.

+1. Absolute must

definately sounds like a battery problem if your using the traxxas charger they gave you give your battery a couple extra cycles...but as the guys said get yourself a glow stick less agro

did you clean the glow plug?,cause i had a little bit of problem with connection on the plug.

thanks all, I do use a glow ignitor ,but that EZ start is so damn convenient when it works! now if they could just invent a starter that would work by pushing a button on the remote.
I tried changing the glow plug and using a fresh battery and it still wont fire up the glow plug. maybe I'll just see about a starter box for the revo.

My idea is, it's a Traxxas E-Z start, which is an oxymoron! That glow plug lead is about as useful as a tit on a bull, man! As has been mentioned, cut that blue wire as close to the harness as you can and bid it a fond farewell!

I know carrying a glow stick may be a bit of an inconvenience, but that on board ignitor is more of one in the long run!
