EZ Start with 11.1V lipo

why would you do that?
it would possibly burn the motor and the cables as well, keep away from lipos in EZ start and just use normal 7.2v battery pack...

x2 ^ the ez start motor runs on 7.2v subc battery packs anything you use that is higher than 7.2v will basically fry the glow plug , the ez start moter, and the cables

I do agree though. Do not do that. there is no need to give that motor and/or the glow plug that much juice. You will certainly fry something.

I would not do a 3s Lipo. A 2s (yes) works well (Done it). In the Nimh I have even used an 8.4V 7 cell with good results. Maybe it could lead to a shorter lifespan of the associated parts but I have no data to back either side of that. I would steer clear of the 11.1volt though.

yeah I've used the 8.4 v ones and they do a whole lot better and spin the motor better than the 7.2 v ones

I cleaned up this thread and left the useful posts.
Not everyone is an English major since we have members all over the world.
Give them a break, give them the information they asked for and leave it at that. We're all here to help them learn about the hobby, not to grade their papers.
