external differences between 2.5 and 2.5R??

I bought a 2.5R off of ebay, and am curious if there is any external differences between the two motors. I think I will dismantle it and take pics to see if there are differences at all, anyone know for shure?

Different cooling head.

Rolex was right about the cooling head. The 2.5r is supposed to have better porting.
That is about all I know.

They are correct the only diffs are the head and slightly different porting, it doesn't give the 2.5r any more of an advantage.

If I remember right I compared the numbers(part numbers) and they where the same expect the cooling head, I might of missed something.

The only external difference is the head. Its machined, unlike the old trx 2.5 with the cast head... machined is a lot better.
