does anyone know if the extended tvps push the rear back?I've noticed on the truckzilla kits how far the engine sits from the shocks, I'm having some issues with clearance with my shocks and my header

The extended TVPs give you more room in the rear, but that is more for engine clearance so you can drop in a larger engine. Byproduct of that is more room for a .21 engine and it might solve your header to shock clearance issue.

Or, you could go with a 4 buggy shock set up with new era upper arms... This is the route I'm probably going to take since I just don't like the shocks on the savage and the clearance issue with the header isn't going to go away with out loosing a shock, or doing what you talked about.

He is already there with the buggy/T-Maxx shocks and the New Era arms. He is trying to run eight shocks much like shogun did. I know this isn't mentioned in the thread starter, so your advice is still good.

iut he new proline power stroke it comes with 4 shocks and 4 dampers the dampers have no springs on them the shocks have a double dual rate spring on them a stiff as hell so you have to off set them so the tower dont flex, but the shock bodies are thicker then your reg. buggy shocks so clearance is the problem but the tvps should slove the problem i just need to find a soilid set with the rear dog bone!!

*i have*

Not to jump off topic, but how long have you been using the proline shocks and how well do you like them? I have a friend that was kind of interested in them, but nobody really is running them yet.

i just got them and have not set them up right to do some hard bashing, but they handle well in the grass flat grounds id say they work really well but i can't tell you till i beat the hell out of them
