I taught my doggy a new trick. This exponential function on my controller is great. On my local track, which is fairly technical with lots of tight turns, this function is going to help me out greatly. I have been running it in the LN (linear) mode but want to try bumping the rate up to +75% to +100%. Will the increase put any extra drain on my controller batteries or my receiver batteries? Thanks.

Nah, it just changes the reaction curve on the servo response. Be sure you set it in the correct direction. I think +% make neutral more sensitive, while -% mushes out neutral, meaning that when it's mushed the steering will be less sensitive around neutral, but at full steering you will have full throw. Very nice feature. I run about 60% (I forget if it's + of -, but it's mushed).

I've found the exponential function to help out tons on my GT. When there's a big loss of traction, I just up the exponential to make the throttle less sensitive so it doesn't spin out nearly as easy.

And if you have a very touchy powerband you can smooth it out a little bit by adjusting the exponential.

I'm using a 6 channel computer with my heli, and the exponential settings are great. I'm about to get one for the Tmaxx. You can mix certain settings on the aircraft radios, but I'm not sure about the cars.
Do you know if you can mush the steering ONLY at WOT? I'd still like to have the standard steering at lower speeds.
