Well it popped off actually. I was doing donuts in the road and it parked itself against the curb and the exhaust popped off the header. i ran over to it and stuck my thumb over the header to kill the engine real quick.Who needs thumbprints anyways. :stupid: So my question is... what kind of damage if any would it do to my engine? and by the way its a trashass 2.5 rustler

Since you shut it off right away you should be just fine. Running without the pipe will cause no pressure in the tank to feed the fuel to the carb causing a lean condition. You would not want to run it like this for any length of time, but if it just fell off and you shut it right off you will be fine.

Yeaa, the engine should be ok, but what about your thumb, is it ok? or you have a nice new ring? :jk:

same thing always happens to me. just reattach it, it doesn't harm the engine at all if you run it for a second

yeah I'm missin half my thumb print
as for the engine dont know can't get the dang thing tuned
but i got it idle ing thats good enough for me
they should make one of those dumby books
nitro rc car tunning for dumbies :stupid:
