I purchased a "dual exhaust" set up from e-bay. After I put it on the performance if horrible. It seems to bog down at higher rpm's and it is alot slower. The exhaust looks and sounds killer, but the performance sucks. I would assume I could tune the high and low speed needles and get it to run better?? Any suggestions??

Take it off. Those dual exhaust systems are notorious for killing performance. Probably due to a lack of back pressure caused by dual stingers. 2 cycle nitro motors need back pressure to push the fuel.

I have never tried one, but have read enough of these "This dual exhaust killed my performance" posts to make me steer very clear of them.

Yepp i was about to go with one too when i posted here everyone told me DONT DO IT!!!
Ya shortly after my friend went out and bought some crappy one from the hobby shop for 50 bucks. Comes the next day and asks me to buy it! Guess wat i said! NOP..
Lol ya it makes performance really sucky...

I had one on my Savage.. All it did was kill it power and it ran uncontrollably hot nomatter where i set the carb.. Dunno what was up with that but when its peeking well over 400 somethin isnt right lol...

Any suggestions on a tuned pie? I don't like the stock one that came with it (I have the Savage X with the 4.6) I have seen those chrome plated "ribbed" tuned pipes, are they any good?
