Here my 100$ question, I'm getting this pipe soon:http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFPZ2&P=7,and i was wondering...again, exhaust deflector...if there is one in specific that you guys prefered and that sticks-out enough so that it doesn't leave me with a mess everywhere !!!:seeing_stars:

The only reason I'm askin, is because i saw that there is sizes, so wanna be sure
THANKS

that is an awesome pipe, plenty of power, cheep, and tough. i had the silver ripple. as far as i can tell most deflectors are about the same. I like the ones with the small ribs to hold like 3 zip ties on there. just make sure you get one for a big block pipe. there are 2 different ID ones.

the venoms look nice, and have a ton of colors to choose from! just make sure you get and 1/8th scale one.

Oh crap... I hate that pipe... I gave mine away. I just couldn't stand how loud the damn thing was. It gave decent performance for about the first 1/2 throttle, but was completely flat from 1/2-WOT. Made the engine run warmer than others as well.

I don't mean to discourage you or anything... Maybe you will have better luck with it.

As for stinger extenders, I just run du-bro's: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD636&P=ML

On an MT the exhaust deflector doesn't really prevent the mess...it just deflects it a bit away from the truck. :D

I run Racer's Edge deflectors on my rides. They have the ridges mentioned above and do a great job on my buggies. When I had a Savage and a T-Maxx, the deflectors kicked the oil and sludge away from the truck enough that I only had a little mess on the rear wheel to the side of the exhaust.

Note, they also act like a muffler for the muffler...drops the sound down a little and can impact tuning. Just make certain to get the size that is appropriate to your engine and pipe. Too small and you may choke out your engine.

:celebrate: NICE !!! Thanks a million everybody !! Dont worry olds u did not discourage me...the louder the better, i want everybody around my bashing places to know there is a SAVAGE around so get the F--- outta of the way LOL
Seriously though, i heard the ribbed pipe were loud, so got myself one...
Gonna look for that exhaust deflector at the LHS some time this week. Once again thank you guys.:thankyou:

OH one more thing,on the tower hobbies page, i saw the : .35-.90 , What do i have to look for my pipe? THANKS
