I have an XTM X-Terminator with a .247. It was given to me.
I have readjusted the low & hi speed adjustment screw to factory settings.
I fires up fine but I have fuel dumping out the exhaust. I have leaned it out but fuel still continues to pour out. Also as soon as I remove the the glow igniter it stall out. I have tightened every screw, nut, & bolt on the engine so I don't think I have any leaks anywhere. Do you think that maybe my piston & sleeve are worn out?:deadhorse

I think it's still rich and/or your glow plug is shot.

If it's stalling the instant your taking off the heater, the glow plug is usually dead. There's a coating on the plug that reacts with the fuel on a chemical level. Over time, that coating wears off and it no longer reacts, so the only way it works is when electricity is applied heating the coil.

Or, your excessively rich still.

What are the outside temps your running in? Since your in CA, I'm guessing it's not the cold...

Outside temp was 70 deg. I had the hi-speed needle turned to about 2 turns and kept turning it in until it finally stalled out. But I think your right. It may be the glow plug. I'm kinda new to the nitro engines. I run 1/4 scale cars with spark plugs. It's a little different beast. I'll go change the glow plug and see what happens. Thx.

If your spitting raw fuel out, your still way to rich. Thats probably what made the glow plug go to crap. Id set it back to your factory settings and go from there.

Have already done that. And even running it lean, it still spits out a lot of fuel

That really isnt possible. When running lean, the engine is starved for gas, so to be spitting out excess fuel, your either running very rich or you have your gas and breather line hooked up wrong..lol

Just changed out my glow plug and went back to factory settings.
Results: Still spits out fuel and burned out the plug.
Pulled engine apart.
Findings: Badly scored piston & sleeve.
Bought new piston, sleeve, and crank.
Results: Very little fuel spitting out. (But I'm running rich for break in)
After break in... Engine runs fine.
Problem solved

Thanks guys
