Hi,

I've just got into Nitro RC cars, and bought my first Nitro buggy a few weeks ago. I've done alot of reading on the subject and seem to have got the car running like it should.

However, when i've finished playing with it, there is always alot of fluid/fuel on the bottom of the car. I dont know if I have a leak or its jus coming from the overflow?

Whats the best way to check for a fuel leak or is there any other explantion for this?

Thanks Craig

It is probably excess oil from the fuel not being burned off. If you are running low temps and it is doing this. try leaning out your HSN.

I would tend to agree with Alpine, but it depends on your definition of "a lot". Some is normal, more may mean you're too rich, a lot may mean a leak. This is by my definitions!LOL :D

if you have run it alot with out cleaning, id say its normal. if you had a "leak" the car wouldnt tune, would have inconsistant temps and would be a PITA to play with.

By 'alot' i mean a fairly good coating, if i tiped the car on it side it would slowly drip off. Do you think the car is running too rich?

Thanks Craig
