HEY ok i have a Hpi Evo and when i start it goes full throttle for some odd reason and i dont know why. Also when running it and i press brakes the engine just shuts off..
Wat do i do?
i found it in my garage i didnt use it for about 5 months now../

YOU FOUND IT IN YOU GARAGE? HOW SWEET IS THAT!! YOU'D BETTER GET BACK OUT THERE AND FIND ME SOMETHIN!! I NEED A NEW SAVVY!! first start by setting the carb to factory. then check your linkage. make sure your servo's are at nutruel. when the throttle servo is set at the zero position, you wana look into the carb barrel and see that its closing and opening all the way.. when the barrel is fully closed, open it up about 1mm with the throttle trim. and what do you mean by its at full throttle when you start it?.. it just revs up to the top? or do the wheels just spin like the clutch is engaged? if it just revs up, mit sounds like the linkage/trim is off..

make sure that ur throttle is set at zero if not then set it 2 zero and there should be about a 1 mm gap between the carb. if that dose not work then richen ur low speed needle out by turning it counter clockwise until it dose not take off anymore. and 4 ur brakes ur car is prob running 2 rich lean that out also
