Today I was hoping to break my engine in on my Nitro Evader ST, so I got to a parking lot to drive and get everything set up. When pour the fuel in it starts priming itself. I put the glo-ignitor on and the engine is flooded. I tokk the glow plug out, turn it upside down, and pull on the pull start. A ton of fuel came out so I tried it again and the same thing happened. I tried 5-6 times and everytime it flooded. Does anybody know whats wrong?

How does it start priming itself??? Autoprime!? lol Sounds a bit rich, but damn, auto-priming... that stumped me...

I just put the fuel in the tank and fuel just started going through the line

Is the carb stuck wide open? If it is, then the flooding is a blessing in disquise!

I've noticed the fuel flow through my lines if the carb is open and not at it's idle position.

No, my carb is working fine. Also there was fuel coming out around the glow plug. I had the copper ring on the plug so I know the fuel issue can't be that.:depress:

Sounds to me like you need to go back to the work bench and remove the engine. Check to make sure the fuel nipple is tight. Actually... remove the HSN/Fuel nipple and smear a little Permatex Ultra Copper on both sides of the nipple. let it set for a few minutes and put it back together. Remove the carb and smear a little sealer around the O-ring and remount the carb pushing down hard on the carb as you tighten the lock screw. Remove the P/S and back plate and seal the back plate. Be very careful when removing the P/S, you don't want it to come apart and uncoil the recoil spring. Check the head mounting screws to make sure they are tight and tighten your glow plug. Re-assemble your truck and let the sealant set up over night before trying to start the motor. Before refueling, close the HSN and fill the tank. If the line still fills with fuel, you may have a bad hose or cracked nipple. If it doesn't fill the line then open the HSN 3 turns and prime the carb. Then proceed with break-in. Warning, you will dump a lot of oil and fuel out of the exhaust for the first few tanks. This is normal so don't let it worry you. :hammer:
