Hey RCT! So I got to thinking and realized I could relocate my radio to the front plate and remove the two side plates that typically mount the esc and radio, so I could get rid of the ugly bulge on the side of it since my body barely fits even with the fenders pretty much gone and bumpers removed. (Oh yeah, this is on a TRX-4). I then realized I need a spot to mount my esc to the car. If you're familiar with the Trx-4m, it kinda looks like that frame, but 1/10. Also, while I'm on the topic of the car, I want to conceal the radio antenna that now pops out of the hood in the top right corner (left if you look at it head on) with something fun like a snorkel or a hood stack. What should I use? Thanks!

Probably going to be limited to 3D printed parts or custom made metal parts. I don't know if anyone sells something premade for something that specific, but I'm sure others will chime in. Might be time to consider getting a 3D printer! Crawlers and 3D printers go together like poor choices and tequila. 😂

I think we have one in the house, but it was free or cheap and I think there's a bunch of nozzle issues. Also, I have servo tape, so I could make a flat surface that it could mount to, but how?

Home Depot/lowes usually has really small sheets of 1/8" sheet metal for like $15 bucks. May be able to cut it and bend it into something you could screw in between the chassis perhaps?

Delrin is always an option. It's easy to work with, lightweight, durable and relatively cheap. If you poke around, you can find delrin sheets in different colors, sizes and thicknesses for craft/hobby purposes online. Easy to cut and you can make it semi pliable using a heat gun. That WAS the go to for custom RC parts before 3D printers too over. But, I haven't seen someone mention or even use delrin for RC parts in a long time.

What I'm thinking of doing is finding a way to mount it above my battery box/motor area. If I could mount something there, I could then take something like the 1/8" sheet metal or some plastic. I find the craziest uses for random parts, believe me. I build a working car out of some extra parts from one of those Chinese cars, extra steering links from a slash, and Legos. I took it apart because I needed the electronics (except motor) for my other cars.
