Will this combo eliminate the need for an additional bec or ubec on my trx 6? Also how easy is it to pair with my traxxas radio?

That looks like bec is strong enough to run that savox servo along with your esc. even 2 fans. 6amp 7.4... 2.9kv on 2 cell id think about a smaller kv motor to really crawl...

I've seen people put the Axe 3300kv 550 in the TRX6 and crawl much slower (and controlled) than most brushed setups, but the motor size is longer on the 550 compared to the 540L.

Both fit without any issues in the TRX-6. The only difference between the 550 and 540L is that the 550 has a longer can length, so it outputs more torque.
