We have members of all ages here, including my own son who is 11. I am getting sick and tired of seeing the f-bomb dropped all over the place. Changing a letter or two to a character is not acceptable either. A few of you got lucky this morning, I only edited your posts and did not infract you. If you can not get your point across without the profanity then only post in FFA, otherwise keep it out of the general forums!

id like to apologize i think i was guilty of this just today....sometimes the anonymity of the interwebs can make you forget your manners...consider yout point taken....by me anyhow...lol

I've certainly been guilty at times but I vote for a zero tolerance policy on profanity. It's not like it just comes out in the heat if the moment. Every post includes an opportunity for review before finalization. First instance warning, second instance permanent ban.

Free bump.

Its in the site rules too. Alittle "adult" language it tolerated and we are all guilty of it from time to time here but the obvious F-bomb isnt going be overlooked in the open forums any more. Been alot lately.

I am sorry if I have done it without realizing I was in the wrong area I really can't remember if I have or not but I completly understand I have kids too and I wouldnt want them reading that stuff either... Like I said can't remember exactly if I am guilty but am sorry and will make sure I pay attention more....

Here it is, directly copied from the rules:

Do NOT
Use profanity. This includes the use of symbols, abbreviations, or acronyms to circumvent the no profanity rule.

I've given a few warnings and infractions in the last couple of weeks and have had to edit those threads to comply with the rules. Under no circumstances do we let the f-bomb remain in the open forums.
Most of you guys already know that, and some of the newbies learn that with an infraction.

I can't say I'm innocent and I duely apologize for this nonsense language. I do try to keep it to a minimum unless in FFA,

What if I am talking about the TV show "---- My dad says"? Some people do take it too far. A little every once in a while is not a big deal but I agree for the most part

So does this mean I can't say "f-bomb" anymore without getting banned?

In the periodic table of elements, F is for Fluorine.

Brief description:
Fluorine is a Group 17 element. Fluorine is the most electronegative and reactive of all elements. It is a pale yellow, corrosive gas, which reacts with practically all organic and inorganic substances. Finely divided metals, glass, ceramics, carbon, and even water burn in fluorine with a bright flame.

If you plan on using Fluorine for some kind of explosive device, you can use the phrase "f-bomb". Nothing else.
Since we NEVER allow any discussion regarding explosives that might hurt another member who read it here, the short form for a Fluorine bomb won't be mentioned either.

Remember that. It WILL be on the test.

I thought the only test we have is for entrance into the Mods' lounge.

I keep wondering about the skid marks on some of the recliners in there and the empty roofie bottles in the garbage can.

maybe I might stear clear of that area!!!!! l.o.l...
and hamz you might never know why or you might be able to find out but might not want to know the truth l.o.l!!!
