I have an hpi evo i need a new engine for the time beging bc mine is beging sent to hpi what is a good engine that comes with everything i need thats under 100 bucks and is the engine the evo comes with a good engine what other things should i do to make the car faster

Well, the Evo will take any small block engine. To get something below $100 is pushing it kinda thin. You may want to look at the OS 12 CV-R and CV-RX. Those are just a rad over $100. They will be much better than your current engine. To start getting into the better performing engines, the prices hit above $200. The .18 CV-RX is also relatively cheap. The big brothers of this engine (TM and TZ) are priced at about $200 but have insane power. I am assuming that you are just running in the parking lot so race legal is not an issue.

Well what other performce mods can i do that will really boost it up i really want to mod the poop out of the car

Before you go modding the poop out of the car, what is your budget? I say drive the car learn how to tune it then get things to boost performance. First things first...new radio, servo's, new engine. Then drive drive drive.

Should i use the normal engine

Do i use my normal engine that went back to hpi and wait for it or buy a new pull start engine how long can you run the car before you over heat i need to know that and how did i blow the engine housing
